The max suction height is 7/23ft and it takes some time before automatic pumping.
Adding some pilotage water to the head of the pump will help accelerate the flow rate of the inlet. The closer the water inlet pipe and the pump the better the effect.
Impurities are not allowed in the water and there is a jam if the diameter is more than 1mm.
There is a dewatering outlet designed for draining the left water in the machine if it will not be in use for the long term. Water Inlet and outlet need to be sealed up when you connect pipes.
Ensure that the water pump is always in good operation or standby state.
Domestic water pumps, fire pumps, sprinkler pumps, booster pumps, sewage pumps, and air conditioning pumps are installed in all buildings.
The maintenance personnel of the management office is responsible for the regular maintenance of the water pump.
1)Daily inspection and maintenance shall be carried out for the domestic water pump and air conditioning water pump once a week, and comprehensive maintenance shall be carried out every six months.
2)The fire pump and spraying pump shall be commissioned once every month and the booster pump shall be commissioned once every two months for 10-15 minutes. When the fire pump is started, the fire hydrant outlet at the top of the pipe network shall be tested with a spray range of more than 6m, and comprehensive maintenance shall be carried out every six months.
3)The sewage pump and submersible pump shall be fully maintained every six months.
4)During the maintenance of the water pump, the valves, pressure gauges, pipelines, etc. within 2 meters of the pump body should be maintained with the pump at the same time.
5)Maintenance of pump body
Check whether the pump body is damaged, the nameplate is intact, the direction of water flow is clear, the appearance is neat, and the paint is intact.
Replenish the lubricating oil. If the oil changes color and has impurities, it should be replaced.
Check the sealing condition of packing. If there is water leakage, add or replace asbestos rope packing.
If the connecting bolts and rubber pads of the coupling are damaged, they should be replaced.
Tighten the base screws and do the rust-proof treatment.
Due to the frequent operation of the domestic water pump and air conditioning water pump, the bearings at both ends of the coupling should be removed every year for cleaning or replacement.
6)Maintenance of motor
The appearance inspection shall be neat, the nameplate shall be intact, and the grounding wire shall be well connected.
Disassemble the wire connecting strip in the motor junction box, and use a 500V megger to test the insulation resistance between phase and phase of the motor winding and phase to ground, which should not be less than 0.5 megohms.
The three-phase wires and connecting pieces in the motor junction box shall be firm and tight.
7)Maintenance of relevant valves, pipelines, and accessories
The switch of each valve shall be flexible and reliable without leakage inside and outside.
The one-way valve shall operate flexibly without water leakage inside and outside the valve body.
The indication of the pressure gauge is accurate and the dial is clear.
The appearance of pipes and accessories shall be neat and beautiful without cracks, and the paint shall be complete without falling off.
Jog to judge whether the rotation direction of the water pump is correct. If there is any error, it should be corrected.
8)Maintenance of control cabinet
Disconnect the main power supply of the control cabinet, check each change-over switch, and the start and stop buttons should be flexible and reliable.
Check whether the air switch, contactor, relay, and other electrical appliances in the cabinet are in good condition, and tighten the wiring screws of the contact wire head and wiring terminal of each electrical appliance.
Clean the dust inside and outside the control cabinet.
Turn on the main power supply and check that the power supply indication should be normal.
9)After maintenance, start the water pump and observe whether the ammeter and indicator light indicate normally.
10)Observe that the operation of the water pump should be stable without obvious vibration and abnormal sound, the indication of the pressure gauge should be normal, and all electrical appliances in the control cabinet should have no adverse noise.
When the pump adopts a stuffing box seal, attention must be paid to the tightness of the packing. Too loose and too much water leakage will affect the performance. In normal conditions, the water leakage should be about 60 drops per minute. Dripping is normal, and the surrounding splashing is abnormal.
When using the mechanical seal, the pump should not operate under the condition of water cut-off, and only momentary inching can be performed during commissioning. A small amount of water will flow out from the front of the water retaining ring during the normal operation of the mechanical device. When there is a large amount of water leakage, the friction ring should be checked, repaired, or replaced. Under normal conditions, the service life of the mechanical seal is 8000 hours. Generally, it is not necessary to replace the whole set, as long as the pair of friction rings of the moving ring and the stationary ring is replaced.
This pump adopts the imported SKF series bearing semi-closed type, which has been lubricated with high-temperature grease at the factory. It can operate continuously for 2 years, and it needs to be lubricated once a year in the future.
In case of special circumstances, the water pump impeller is damaged or rolled into foreign matters, which need to be checked and cleaned, the bearing body and tail cover need to be removed, and the shaft and impeller need to be pulled out to the rear. The pump body and inlet and outlet pipes do not need to be removed.
The main wearing parts of the pump include elastic coupling, mechanical seal, dynamic and static rings, O-shaped rubber roll, bearing, impeller nut, packing pressing plate, etc. pay attention to careful inspection during maintenance, and replace it in time if it is damaged.
